HOOD: We tour you South through the lush Hood
River valley, past apple and pear orchards where
you can stop and sample local fruit and a winery.
Arrive at historic Timberline Lodge for
magnificent views of Mt. Hood (11,240 feet).
Have lunch at the lodge or take photos of the
glacier.

HOOD RIVER VALLEY FRUIT LOOP: Travel South
through apple, cherry, and pear orchards as we
make our way to Mt. Hood. Stop at Rassmusen Farms,
Mt. Hood Winery, and have a picnic
lunch. You can pick up boxes of fruit at great
discounts, or have them shipped home.

EASTERN GORGE:

Cross
the Columbia River and travel east to Lyle. Stop
at the Klicitat River and look for Salmon
running upstream. Continue to Maryhill with indcredible
views from the Maryhill Winery and Museum.
Stop at Stonehenge - WWII Memorial. Cross
the river at Biggs, and head west past Native
American fishing sites, rock cliffs, and windsurfing
areas. Take the historic scenic hwy from Mosier
to the top of the Twin Tunnels Lookout.

WESTERN GORGE:
Head
West from Hood River and go to Multnomah
Falls, and the Vista House. Travel back to
Cascade Locks, then cross the Legendary "Bridge
of the Gods" into WA, go East over Cape Horn,
and past Beacon Rock in Skamania County.
Continue back west along the WA shoreline and
see windsurfers up close at the Hatchery
Sailing Point and stop at the Fish Hatchery when
in season.
